Dos Santos Food Pantry & Thrift Store

What We Do

Dos Santos is an all-volunteer-run food pantry that provides healthy, culturally appropriate food staples to immigrant and agricultural worker communities in Accomack and Northampton Counties of Virginia’s Eastern Shore. We run a large thrift store operation to help fund our food purchases.

Rising housing and food costs have vastly increased the number of our neighbors who are seeking help with food insecurity.

Dos Santos is a major operation, currently serving approximately 800 FAMILIES a month, making us the FoodBank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore’s largest partner agency on the Shore.

We offer emergency food aid at Dos Santos Thrift Store in Onley throughout the month. Our mobile food pantry operates in Pungoteague (1st Sunday of the month), Parksley (2nd Sunday), and Eastville (3rd Sunday).

Did You Know?

Dos Santos is the Spanish term for 'two saints'.

It reflects the origin of this organization that began at two historically yoked faith communities and was founded by two faith leaders— Angélica Garcia and the Rev. Cameron Randle.
